Christmas lunch...

We went to Bonanza estate on the outskirts of Lusaka for Christmas lunch with a couple of friends - we had Christmas crackers and even Santa hats.  Lots of amazing food from turkey to lamb.  It was all a bit much for me but I did my best!

One of my friends was catching a flight later so we came home and then I took her to the airport!  Just got back from the airport in the midst of an amazing thunderstorm to get a message that she had left her phone in my house charging!  So...I got the phone and headed once more to the airport!  On arrival I asked if I could leave my car without it getting clamped...I was told I had 10 minutes!  By the time the people inside checked the flight details, checked that the passenger was there, then called her name on the tannoy...it was almost 20 minutes before she retrieved her phone!  Thankfully the guy outside was on the phone and didn't realised how long it had taken me so I just drove off....glad to be home again!
