St Johns Bridge

A cozy morning by the fire and the tree.  We checked the weather forecast and decided to take a post-lunch walk despite of it.  An extraordinarily bracing walk along the shore of the Columbia River at Sauvie Island (always a favorite place), it was brief yet felt like we'd been out for ages, the wind was just too strong with the rain bouncing off us like hail.  A face-stinging walk back to the car, laughing and exhilarated!
