Festive Afternoon Tea

This is like de ja vu. Last year, on Boxing Day, Hilde, our German friend, said she wanted an Afternoon Tea, so we took her to M&S in Dubai Mall. This year, Jessica suggested we meet at the MOE branch of M&S to have a coffee and snack, and exchange our presents. It all worked out brilliantly, and it turns out that Jessica had not tried an AT at M&S before. She said she would do it again. :))

It is a normal working day here, so we got caught in commuter traffic on the way home. It took us nearly 90 minutes. We were all very happy with our gifts. Mine was in such a large box, I can't remember the last time I was so excited to unwrap a present!!

And in the morning, G & I whizzed to Wafi to bring home a 1kg box of luxury dates so that they were as fresh as they could possibly be. Catching Paddington 2 on one of the free channels finished the day nicely.
