Nice day for a dip

A grey, damp and misty day.  This morning we went over to Cromer to watch the annual Boxing Day swim for charity.  It's the first time we've been to watch and I have nothing but admiration for those who did it.  It was cold enough standing fully clothed with scarf, hat and coat on but the idea of stripping off and going into the sea on such a day doesn't bear thinking about.  And yet they did!

A lot of people went in and came out again pretty quickly but there were quite a few people who stayed in for quite a while.  This was a shot taken not long after they all went into the water; a few are heading back out already!
