The Corner of the Kitchen

The last time I baked these saffron buns (baked and blipped on 11 December) they were not a total success. They weren't a disaster, they all got eaten after all, but even I had to admit they were a little weird. I'd been freestyling a little as I baked them and something went wrong.
So, today I decided to follow the recipe exactly. I didn't, but I was pretty close and these came out just as they should. My sharpest critic declared them "really good", so I was happy with that result.
The green container on the floor is our recycling, the basket next to it is the recycling where a deposit is involved. Our new Mocha coffee maker is on display. but otherwise the corner looks pretty much as it always does.
