Christmas Stockings

As you see, no effort was wasted in decorating the mantlepiece this year.

The children made the smaller ones at school, the larger ones I made for them from different garments and were duly filled after they had fallen asleep on Christmas Eve.

When they both left home they left the stockings behind and I found them amongst the decorations. A quick and easy alternative to messing about with tons of greenery, though rather less Homes And Gardens.
