A chilly start, Mum had turned the boiler off at some point so no heating.
I was going to take Mum down to Teignmouth to watch The Run Into the Sea but it was very foggy, plus the delay getting the bungalow warm before Mum washed & dressed set us back, so "we" emptied the sideboard cupboards & had a clear out. There was a South Devon Technical College 1947 group (students & tutors) photo, approximately 1mtr long. It took a while for Mum to find herself in the photo, then she spent time looking for others she knew.
Ashley brought Great grandchildren Norah & Eliza to see Mum & collect their pressies. Lots of excitement & bubbles.
Hayley sent me a video of Jasper, the little lad who lives opposite, opening his presents from John & I. I was given an Eddie Stobart articulated lorry boxed toy by Stobarts as a thank you for staying late at work to take delivery of palleted fresh cut Xmas trees back in the day when I was Planteria Manager. That was about 30years ago. There are no boys in our family & I thought Jasper might like it.
