Boxing day

First of all I have to comment that I cannot believe it is 20 years since the devastating tsunami.

I took dad into Skipton to meet up with an old friend of his - not sure quite how long they’ve known each other but before I was born. Lovely to see them reminiscing together.

Home for leftover tea- including very delicious bread sauce (finally)!  Miss H and family are vegetarians so I brought all the meat home with us, including the carcass which has been converted to fabulous chicken stock.

Haven’t taken a photo all day so seeing my mug on the table next to me got me thinking again on the passage of time…..I’ve been using it for almost 2 years now.
