Boxing Day

Nightmare situation arrived at my folks to see my mother had moments earlier face planted the tiled floor (foot caught in electrical lead not usually there).

Nose broken, eyes and swelling bad. She doesn’t have eye bags usually!

Ice, antiseptic and sterile strips. She will sleep in a slightly raised position. Bleeding has stopped and she says she feels fine aside from needing pain killers
