We had a. Southerly gale today.
The Interislander ferry service rolled so badly leaving the harbour that vehicles on board crashed into each other and The Boss took a Bus to a Pet Shop to get a collar for our latest acquisition (non barking) to be revealed later and walked home under the worst wind conditions he remembers which was luckily behind him. In Oriental Bay you hardly knew it was blowing but it was a tad noisy at apartment level 8 floors up.
The Airport is aligned to the wind but was probably still challenging.
