… a desperate blip if ever there was one!!  Unlike of late the day was glorious - sunny, warm and not at all humid.  We had coffee at our favourite spot which was good after a two day break, then the boardwalk.  Later I walked into town to the library then home to phone my friend in BC, Canada.  (We worked together in Montreal many decades ago and have been friends ever since).  A Friday drink without our friends as they have family visiting.
