Crown-to-Crown Langdon Hills
Following a last minute change of plan by the council, we decided to set off early to ensure a parking pice. The weather was ideal at 11 am for the start of the hilly and muddy in places, Crown-to-Crown Boxing Day run. It was thoroughly enjoyable and with trail shoes on I felt strong and set a steady pace. The course was out and back with more up than down. All down hill for the first section, then on the flat for a bit, then up hill, past the start, and continue up a grassy slope to the finish. I ran the whole thing and achieved a 33:53 PB for the course. Very pleased. Good to spot parkrun Beryl volunteering.
G and I decided to put the other Crown-to-Crown races in our diary for 2025.
The rest of Boxing Day was a chance to read, relax and enjoy some catch-up TV.
Overall an enjoyable day.
