Boxing day curry

Family tradition: lazy lie in, followed by van-picking-up. Poor G had a total meltdown after we left Claire's, and the rest of the evening was a real struggle. Thankfully, she bounced back this morning and was out with Dad when we got there.
The rest of the day was pure bliss. Lounging around, spent time in the kitchen prepping the chickn biryani and a veggie curry for the evening meal. Kevin arrived after work, and we had a proper catch-up. He seemed to really love his presents – hoping they give him the motivation he's been looking for.
The biryani? Absolute winner. Those crispy leeks on top were a game-changer, even if they were a tad indulgent. Worth it!
