They've arrived -

At last we have butterflies on the Buddliea (the white one as the purple are still to come). Unfortunately they were mainly at the top and it was blowing around rather too much to get a crisp shot but I've included this one any way as I liked the background of the dark and ominous sky.

Later a Tortoiseshell obliged by landing on these bright Coreopsis right in front of me whilst the whites seem to be attracted to the wild geraniums.

So it had to be butterflies today (and I was only checking the garden for storm damage from yesterday) Despite the dark clouds around this morning it has been sunny and breezy for most of the day, no more storms, yet!
