Ashness Jetty

I took advantage of a clear sunny morning and headed down to Ashness Jetty.  We were supposed to be here on our workshop in November but the dull weather and the fact that there was no room in the car park meant we passed on the opportunity. 

My patience was rewarded by the scene above. It was flat calm and according to another photographer I got chatting to, this area was the only clear bit of the whole Lake District.  South Lakes was covered in clag!

I spent about an hour here, until two ladies turned up to go wild swimming.  There were very kind and asked when they could go in so as not to cause any ripples in my images!
