Happy Heavenly 105th Birthday to my Dad; gone, but not forgotten.
I collected my secateurs to stop off on the way to the graves to pick some Holly & Ivy to put on the graves, but whoever is in charge for hedge cutting had gone along & cut all the excess off. :(
I decided to go anyway; when I got there I found some perfectly healthy happy Red Roses had been dumped in the Bin, so I picked them up, trimmed the stems & added them to the Water Pot on my Mum's Grave where my Dad's ashes were scattered; I apologised for giving these Roses, but they were beautiful & needed to be loved.
Afterwards I popped into the Cemetery where my Nephew was buried about 52 years ago, but couldn't find his tiny grave where my brother wanted his ashes to be scattered on so he could be with his son.
I will contact those in the know & then we can complete that wish for him.
I came home to a late light lunch & to watch TV before making Christmas Dinner on Boxing Day/my Dad's Birthday. :)
