Allotment Visit

Our visitors stayed for breakfast, and a chat before setting off home. We had a lovely time with D and H.
Later on we unwrapped the last presents, and then sorted out 2 things. After this we set off to the allotment,  stopping at the charity shop on the way. I'm always so pleased when shops are happy to take a donation.
At the allotment we did shed sorting, mulched the roses, took out more compost to spread on the beds, coppiced some Hazel and more. After we had finished out work we watched the Robins hopping about on the mulch. It was a very peaceful occupation as the light faded.
