Running a week behind with my blips again! Early afternoon we had a rehearsal at church for tomorrow mornings service and Christmas Eve service for handbells and choir. The handbells are playing Carol of the Bells for the Prelude tomorrow morning, and then a small group of the handbells, who don’t sing in the choir like a number of us do, will be accompanying the choir together with the organ, singing I heard the Bells on Christmas Day. Then on Christmas Eve the choir will sing an introit and a Benediction, accompanied by brass, who will also accompany the congregational carols. The choir feels very ill prepared for its pieces, only having been introduced to them a couple of weeks ago. We finally wrapped up shortly before 3pm, so this left us some time to get a walk in at Sharon Woods, before heading home. It was quite cold today and we needed or gloves and hats!
