Beach walk

Charles had gone up to Edinburgh for the day together with Matthew, for some shopping. So Max and I ended up going to the beach for a walk. Powillimount beach was pretty empty and there was an ebbing tide, so Max had so much space to run around and chase Oyster Catchers. There were also some other beach walkers with black Labradors and when I blew the whistle for Max to come back to me, I suddenly had three dogs coming to me :)
The view south towards the Cumbrian Solway coast and the Lake District was quite dramatic this afternoon,
Once back home, I did a bit of gardening while there was still enough light.
Now it is back to a chilled evening - great another week's holiday to come!
