Christmas Cards

Not able to get a blip today so hope the cards will do.

When we took Tanzy a walk today we saw the high street had a police car blocking it at the roundabout on Cross Hills. When we came back there was police tape across and as we wanted to go to the chemist for a prescription pick up we had to go round the houses to come in the other end. we got onto the co-op car park but couldn't get onto the high street as there was tape across any entry. The Chemist was closed but if you knocked on the back door which leads onto the car park she came out to serve people. No shops were open of course, there were rumours of a crash involving children,  however the mystery was solved later, when we found that a quad bike driven by a 16 year old who had a 7year old girl riding behind him crashed into a telegraph pole  Boxing Day Night at 10.30ish. The girl is badly hurt but not life threatening, The boy was arrested later as apparently he did a runner, and 2 people were arrested for Child neglect.  What was a 7 year old doing out at that time. It was actually on both the  local news and the national news.

Thats about it for today, Misty and grey except for about an hour when it cleared and the sun shone but it was short lived.

Hope it cheers up for New Years Eve for people.
