A Cold and Wet Day

This is the kind of winter weather that drives us all to sunny southern destinations! And I leave for Mexico a week from today! Can’t wait!

I did a bunch of puttering around and errands today and then decided to just curl up in my living room in front of the fire with the kitties. It’s miserable out, although the golf course “lake”
Is actually receding and the road is open.

I stopped by one of my favorite garden centers today to pick up a few plants for a terrarium I’m making for a friend. A number of other plants hopped into my cart, like Tete-a-Tete daffodils and violas for my courtyard containers. Saw this ornamental kale which I thought was lovely but didn’t buy it.
