A Beautiful Day

Just a really beautiful morning for a walk through the woods. Heavy snow like this coats the trees and makes them bend and hang down over the trail, creating a muffled tunnel-like effect that makes familiar places feel hushed and mysterious. As the sun warms the treetops high above, sudden showers of snow randomly fall down, trickling through the branches like a giant rain stick. If they catch the light just right they looks like streamers, or tinsel. Very, very satisfying.
