Ded

Well Christmas day was a nice affair.
Presents were given and received.
Dinner was scheduled for after the King's Speech. And for the most part, this worked perfectly!
It was very tasty.

Some of the Hungarian Licqueur was consumed amongst us. It may have been enjoyed more than expected....Imagince 7x 50ml miniatures being sampled....

Well, which brings us to this blip.
00:10 rolls around and there is a huge crash from downstairs - we'd all largely retired to bed.
But It seems that the tree knew Christmas was completed and toppled over. This blip was after we'd stripped all of the ornaments off the tree - cleared up the glass that had smashed and generally set the tree into a "resting" position so that it could do no more damage.

The Cat is currently guilty by association at the moment. The last couple of days he's used the tree skirt as his new prefered snoozing space.
Whether he did anything, tried to climb the tree or anything is unknown and will never be known really.

It's now deid, broken in to bits and literally snipped branches are in the bin. This was the easiest method for me to retrieve the new 1500 lights we'd placed on the tree this year.
Ah well.
