Going back

Drove dad and I back to his place today.

Have had a great few days with family.
Still got a few more here with dad before I head back to Christchurch.

We stopped in at Thames on our way today so that dad could see an old friend.
I was born in Coromandel, along the coast from Thames.
When we were kids going to Thames was a big deal. A long drive along the twisty coast road, usually one of us was carsick!
Will never forget those days.
