Today's taskette

Taskette (noun) a small piece of work originally thought to require ~30 minutes and two screwdrivers which quickly expands beyond 60 minutes, requires three tool boxes, an assistant, and generates at least one other piece of work.
Frequently involves questioning the competence and/or work ethic of the original builders of the house. May involve expletive language  :-)

We do at least now have a functional light in the downstairs toilet/cloakroom.
and ... I received a letter inviting me to give our bank details for my state pension, so I am now officially old - oh joy!
