Friday........I think?

All the days merge into one over Christmas. 

I started the day with BP and a swim.  It was a cold grey morning and it would have been easy to hunker down and stay in bed but I needed a change of scenery. OH was not feeling great and had a lie in.  Home by 11.30 and starving so I cooked eggs and bacon.  I had a call with sister K and we chatted and compared our Christmas.

OH had appointment for small procedure so I took him to the hospital and dropped him off to avoid fighting for a parking space.  Also had quick visit to Homebase and purchased a bargain folding table so I can put all my sewing stuff and wool etc while I am watching TV (when did I get so old?!........). Appointment only took a short while and we were home with the fire alight, cup of tea and piece of cake in no time.  Easy dinner (left over Beef Wellington finished the day).

No.2 sent me a picture of his dinner - with the left over ham that we gave to him.

Had a call with James this morning and he is feeling sad - trying to keep busy to keep the sadness at bay but there are only so many dog walks you can do?  He is off skiing with friends on Sunday so that will be a lovely distraction.  Aimee went skiing with him once or twice and she always used to say she was pleased as this was the only sporting endeavour that she was actually better than him!!
