Candles

There is a special magic to candles at Christmas time.. I loved these beeswax Christmas trees I bought this year. As they have burnt down they have created beautiful sculptural effects around the top and smell delicious. Tonight the family are all together but tomorrow our eldest leaves for a long journey north for New Year with friends 
I has been full on and very enjoyable. How do others make time to do so much at Christmas I wonder.. we seem to be short of time always.. maybe I was not quite organised enough with meals which means there is always some food preparation to think about and takes time. 
I long to kick back and play games and watch films and enjoy company but just don't find enough time to do it all and suddenly it is all over.. for another year
