Winter tree

This may or may not be the start of a mini series of bare trees. I liked this one, but wished it stood alone and not linking hands with its friends!

I did the walk "around the block". I have walked very little for weeks and I can tell. It was mild but grey.

My Merlin app said that there were long tailed tits on the route, but I did not see them.

Jenny has finally been transferred to Hexham (at least, she should be there by now), so Margret will be delighted to see her. Maureen's phone remains locked. I think that someone needs to confiscate it and bring it away to try to fix it! Kevin and Catriona managed a visit, having arrived home last night and leaving again tomorrow.

I've been listening to Jodie Picoult's book The Storyteller on Audible. I thought it was going to be about assisted dying, but it is much more complicated. I'm not thrilled with it, but I now want to know what happens! The different characters have different narrators which helps the listener.
