Setting Sail

Playing around on a grey, misty afternoon. The next topic for my photography group is "Not What It Seems" - as a topic it seemed interesting, but it's proving to be more difficult than I expected. This is a model our daughter brought back from a field course based in the Firth of Clyde many years ago. Seems to be a generic shrimp boat, not a classic Scottish design, but it's served my purpose. Lights shining through a blue sheet draped over my light tent, with a little LED with a blue filter actually inside the tent to spotlight the boat. Not a pure blue filter, unfortunately - it has too much of a reddish/magenta tinge. Concentrated on getting the navigation lights to glow and to provide a reflection in the "water", AKA kitchen foil, though the rigging needs to be subdued a bit more than I have done on a quick edit. Reasonably happy with it!
