Window Day

The start of a new long term project! Replacing our old aluminum windows with some high efficiency (r5/u0.2!!) triple pane windows! The first set are going in the nursery, to help with temperature regulation, for when Carly graduates out of our room. I rigged up an electric hoist and used some massive suction cups to help lift the 75lb (35kg) window into place. This will likely be a multi year project due to the cost but doing it myself helps make it possible. Big thanks to the in-laws (graham and Owen) for helping out.

Thank you all for welcoming Carly into this world! She has been such a sweet girl and our enjoyment of being parents is beyond words.
