Race Day

York races are on at the moment and it coincides with a rare child free evening for Mrs Tom and I.

We tried a new Indonesian restaurant and were delighted to find that for the first time in 13 years we were transported back to our honeymoon in Bali. Might have something to do with the Balinese chef they have :-)

Afterwards we went for a stroll and some cocktails, and on the way we were able to see some of the sights that the races brings to this fine city, including this extremely dapper gentlemen in his top hat, tails...and flares. He was most obliging when I asked to take his picture. what a nice chap!
