Gasometer

Fetched a (rather thin) newspaper first thing.  Out in the afternoon by no 8 bus to the new Granton gasometer park. There are paths to West Shore road and from there to the foreshore. There were quite a few people at The Pitt Market.  

We walked West into the wind along the esplanade to Silverknowes beach (not much beach .. tide almost full in, very little bird life) and up the path to the roundabout. A convenient no 29 bus appeared which took us back to Howe Street.
