An Unexpected Journey

So, hello to the world of Blipfoto!

My name is Haydn, I'm a care assistant for the NHS in my mid twenties. You might wonder why I have decided to begin a new journey into what I can only describe as amateur (insanely in my case) photography on this site

Well, here goes...

I was working a shift and happened across a patient in need of surgery. I introduced myself and escorted them to their operation, wherein they expressed a vested interest in one of my tattoos, based on a scene from the great Lord of the Rings films. Further into the conversation, they explained to me about ths website and that they would love to photograph the aforementioned tattoo. 

I happily obliged, and on further discussion about the website, I feel it's something I would love to pursue, if only for a while.

But why this image? 

Be Kind

I think that's something a few people need to hear. The kindness of this patient has lead me to want to start this little journey. I like to think I gave off an air of kindness also. After all, if you can't be kind, why work in healthcare. It's these little interactions that make my working days all the more worth coming into. 

Christmas has just been and gone, a time of year where kindness can either blossom or wither at fluctuating rates. 

So I say again, as we travel together into 2025
