A thought provoking message from a visiting preacher at church today. She said that our reactions to a negative communication from others can be to try to get approval, or to be sniping back. Or, we can work through and settle our own negativity, and aim for peace and respect in our interactions. With heavenly help!

Torrential rain this afternoon, most unlike here. It reminded me of living in Taranaki, where the rain frequently thundered down.
