Gone Fishing

Hooray, the fog/mist has disappeared and it has been a lovely day.  After prepping tonight's dinner, a chicken casserole in the slow cooker, I took off to our local stretch of the Shroppie (Shropshire Union Canal) to take advantage of the delightful change in the weather.

Lots of walkers out but not much wildlife about apart from a few Mallards, Mr & Mrs, hopefully, in extra*, some noisy gulls and lots of Sparrows flitting in and out of the hedges and Mr Robin who followed me all the way bobbing from tree to tree, but always just out of reach of the camera.

Home at 3.30pm, lovely aromas coming from the kitchen and the sky is colouring up already.  Going to be a lovely sunset later I think.
