Vineyard

...but not for wine, for a 10.5 km trail run, 200m + elevation. Always a challenge but today, apart from the cold, conditions were good for this annual race, open to locals only (numbers limited to 75) in aid of WOLO (local charity helping families affected by cancer). This is a 'green' race by 3wordruns: 'carbon neutral'  -  you come, run and leave nothing but your footprint. .... no plastics, no goody bags, car sharing encouraged,  1st place medals made from recycled materials. Blip : wonderful marshalls who donate their time and must have been pretty cold cheering us on. 

Very happy with my place 9/32 women and time (7 mins quicker than last year :))
