Glamorous girls

Eda goes to an after school group twice a week after school called Explorers where they are encouraged to try any activity they fancy. She saw this fabric ( the glittery one) and made a skirt! It needed a little help to finish so I made a casing and inserted elastic. She is wearing it over a navy blue and white dress and I think it looks brilliant! There is glitter everywhere of course but I think she’s now ready to celebrate the New Year in style!
I’m conscious that I haven’t shown much of Jude on blip this holiday so I’ve added her in her chosen style for today - Minnie Mouse!

John has run the walk we did on Friday everyday since we arrived but today he decided to do a bike ride. Not sure where he went but he did over 70K and came back very muddy. We left him with the girls and Chris ran us into town to enjoy a bit of festive atmosphere as it turned to dusk and a bit of shopping. I had something to collect from Seasalt and we had an enjoyable look around Anthropologie.  Everything very pricey but as my Christmas present jumper from Grace and John came from there I can’t complain!

We saw the sun today and could see Bath emerging from the mist more this morning but it has been subsequently mych cooler. 

Last evening with the family, can’t believe how quickly the days have gone. They are going to a Panto in Bristol in the morning starring Eda and Jude’s dance teacher so we won’t see much of them in tomorrow before we head home. We’ve had a lovely time.
