Christmas Eve

We thought we would open our gifts to one another in the quiet of the eve of Christmas. 
Freya and Arthur spent the morning with us and then Jess came for lunch .
we spent a couple of hours in the park running off the wiggles and jiggles and then Freya slept whilst Arthur and I decorated some gingerbread with
icing pens. The rest of the day was spent gathering food, bedding, presents for our christmas dash to Leeds tomorrow afternoon. 
I happen to know that on Christmas day itself there will be no time to take photos, that we will have a joyful unwrapping of presents and cooked breakfast  with Jess and family, that we will spend some time stuck in a traffic jam on the M62 whilst a burnt out car is dealt with , that this will provide us with a chance to have a video call with Jan and Keith and we will arrive just as dinner is ready to be served. Later there will be a video call with Isaac and family. We are so blessed to be able to have all this contact with our loved ones knowing that they are all safe and well.
