Disneyland Devon - up close

Spent an hour or so going through piles of old letters this morning - mainly from my uni years - trying to free up some space in the spare room.  I enjoyed seeing them again - I'm so glad I grew up on the cusp of the internet age, so I actually got to live through the time when people wrote and sent letters to each other - but also now have the ease of email, etc.  (And stopped accruing masses of stuff I can't bring myself to get rid of!)

Tim and I popped to Tesco in the afternoon, to stock up on a few essentials - then once it got dark and Mr Christmas had turned his lights on, we took a walk over the other side of the valley to see them up close.  They didn't disappoint :)  It was lovely to have a walk - Tim's knee is quite a bit better now, and my hip is loads better, too - plus I have more energy now - all quite a relief!

Watched the final episode of Inside Number 9 this evening.  We've been bingeing our way through them for the past couple of months.  Excellent show - and sad that we've finished them all now.
