Witch Hazel

On Christmas morning, when the younger Flums called, I drew their attention to the witch hazel. From the distance of the front door I thought the buds appeared to be a little fatter than from my inspection in the previous week.

Today I took a proper look and there! the flowers are opening up. I shall follow their progress closely.
