Plans get cancelled but at least there is football

A very relaxing day, all things considered. We were supposed to be going to Mitch’s in the evening, but got a phone call putting us off at the last minute, as my godson had a soccer match and couldn’t get out of it. Instead, I watched the Liverpool vs. Leicester City match, and then organised a meal of considerable size involving leftovers. Manchester United lost again. I am not sure at what point the league introduces a mercy rule for them. It’s beginning to feel like bullying.
 
Managed, superbly, to break my tooth on a turkey bone. Well, you do, don’t you? Crack I went and crack it went. Dentist opens her doors on January 2. Thankfully there is no pain.
