Valentines Day

04:00 woke Angie by phone & asked her to call an ambulance.  Arrived with 10 minutes, emergency doctor followed. Very good, loaded me into ambulance,  emergency doctor wanted to accompany me for the 40km drive to Kempten hospital. With not too much traffic & mainly country & motorway roads, didn't get much siren use till Kempten. But full blue light.

Dumb reception at A&E ' What excuse have we got this time for coming to A&E?'. OK admit it was only one young, male, junior assistant who thought he was a Dr, Dr, Prof. Rest, young, female docs & nurses were great & after all usual checks, bed found on a ward.
