Paddock Grasses

The wind has howled all day, not a day for outside although I did have gardening plans but they can wait for another day.
Its been a sport watching day mainly - World Darts this morning, ASB Womens tennis up in Auckland, and test cricket from Australia - all good entertainment.
So, whilst being a couch potato I have been enthralled and fascinated watching the paddock seed heads swirling every which way, coming and going in waves. That prompted me to go and photograph the heads for my blip.  I did try some long exposures to show the movement but went with this more stable looking photo.
Smooch only returned this morning, I was starting to feel a little anxious.  Since then he hasn't left my side, on my knee or under my feet.  Precious puss.
More cricket tonight, NZ v Sri Lanka in the second T20 game.  We won (just) the first game a couple of days ago.
