Day shift no.3 and Bike Therapy

Peering through the window at 05:30 it was nice to see a distinct lack of mist & fog!

Biscuit hasn't been ridden for am guessing a month so I decided to see if her battery had any life in it and commute on her for some much needed bike therapy. After clamouring into motorcycle clothing, moving the car out of the way and thumbing the starter button, it was a relief when her little beating heart burst into life. As a treat I popped some cleaning things into her top box and rumbled off into the waking world.

After quickly washing her before starting work and riding back under cover to dry, the front tyre slid on polished concrete and over we went. Oh Botheration :-/

As every cloud has a silver lining though, her brake pedal that I have been meaning to adjust for the last 18 months was now bent, and so with a large pair of grips I persuaded it back into shape and into the desired position. It felt strange at first after being used to it being too high but will get used to it soon enough.

After that came a stack of admin to catch up on along with an early Natterette with lovely Bestie. The day went well and after riding home the evening was nice & chill. All in all a good Sunday.
