Little Hopper

Maddy and I went for a walk near the canal this evening. I took my 300mm lens expecting ducks, herons, maybe even a kingfisher.

Instead we saw this lovely little hopper. He was remarkably well camouflaged on the gravel path, but not so much on the bright yellow leaf!
