Trongate

Met with Street Level Photoworks at Trongate 103 - a hub of creativity in Merchant City in Glasgow. The premises hosts a gallery, Russian café, Glasgow International Art Festival and the photoworks (and one or two other things). This used to be a run down part of Glasgow but now home to a number of great venues, and a hot bed of visual art creation.

I met them as they were dismantling Future Proof - the best of emerging new photographers - as the team travel to all the art educational establishments to source the best there is on offer. They have a great new exhibition about to take place from August until January next year..... but I can't say anymore but keep an eye on their website.
