So Blessed

Today I met up with my dear friend Glenys. We have been friends and work mates for over 20 years and very sadly, we will not be work mates for much longer. She is retiring (lucky lady!!) at the end of August and will certainly be very much missed by myself and those of her work colleagues who also consider her a dear friend.
She is a real character and could write a book about her life experiences, many a time she has had us in fits of laughter in and out of work!!!
She is one of those people who lights up a room when she enters and is certainly a very REAL and TRUE friend, outshining those in my life who call themselves friends and yet have proved clearly that they are not.
I thank God that I am blessed with a few special friends just like Glenys and really shouldn't concern myself with the other so-called friends!
Glenys is a real cat lover, so you can imagine, she made a right old fuss of
Tinkerbell when they were introduced today. Tinks certainly enjoyed the extra attention!
We then headed over to a local gift shop/tea room called the Potting Shed, near the
Royal Mint and if you have never been, you must! Its fab! Its rammed full of lush gifts, jewellery, ornaments etc etc and we were both in our element!! Could've spent a fortune, but I was a good girl! For a change!
The new tea room that has been added on is just as fab, serving yummy snacks and cakes and they also have a lovely outside decked area with tables and chairs under umbrellas, so as it was so nice, we sat outside.
Whilst enjoying our lunch, Glenys filled me in with all thats been going on at work. I am recovering from surgery at the mo, so haven't been there since May! Nothing has changed by the sound of it!!!!!!!!!!!!
This fab little sign is what I bought at the Potting Shed today and it certainly is sooo true. You can't beat a good CWTCH!
