Wicked

It was a very quiet day at work but a lot of questions about the Custom Data work. I managed to complete everything by 5:30pm so that we could eat something and then head out for Wimbledon. We arrived at the Odeon, and took our seats, just as the advertisements were starting. It wasn’t very busy but there was a crowd with children who I feared would be disruptive during the film. I shouldn’t assume so much as they were silent, totally engrossed in what what showing.

We were there for Wicked. Concluding in three hours, you’re only at the interval (if you were at the stage show). It is, visually, very impressive and seems like a faithful adaptation of the musical. The chemistry between Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande sparkles. Special shoutout to Jonathan Bailey who makes Fiyero stand out. I enjoyed it much more than I was expecting to.
