Scones
Whitekirk Hill today - Holly got her nails done while Yoda and I went to the cafe for a drink and a scone.
Time for my New Year's Eve Eve wrap of 2024 - 12 from the last 12 months.
Starting with the negatives, and a year of uncertainty at work, with lots of changes, and more to come in 2025 - we did enjoy a good get-together in June.
On the positive side, we enjoyed our first family holiday to Center Parcs in April, followed by a weekend in Pitlochry and the Enchanted Forest in October; and a trip to London late in the year where Yoda met her younger cousin for the first time.
The best day of Holly's year (she says life) came in June with the Taylor Swift Eras Tour at Murrayfield. She says I'll understand when Scotland win the World Cup... speaking of which, Scotland's Euro 2024 campaign promised so much, but delivered so little.
We celebrated Yoda's second birthday in May, then she met her hero in Edinburgh and in real life during our trip to London, and enjoyed a first proper Christmas with her believing in Santa.
At home, some more decorating with the kitchen now done. Away from home, a trip to a childhood holiday favourite.
And a final bonus, my frozen shoulder is on the mend.
