Hee...uch!
Firstly, thank you so much for all the hearts, kind words and stars for my Eilidh picture on my 10th blipday yesterday. I was thrilled to have a picture on the popular pages. I always forget to even look at them. Thank you again, what a treat.
I went over to Ali's this morning to pick up some stores for them, they arrive back at 6am tomorrow morning.
As I went into Tesco I came across these dancers, there were several, of all ages from young children to late teams. All from a local dancing school. There was a large audience cheering them on around the entrance area. Proper Scots. Good to see.
Sadly those coming to Edinburgh for tomorrow night's Hogmanay celebrations are going to be disappointed as they have been cancelled due to the gale force winds and stormy weather forecast. Such a shame. The indoor events are still going on, but no concert in the gardens or fireworks or Street party . Such a shame and a blow to the organisers and planners .
We went to Eilidh's party at Laser Quest this afternoon, we skipped the activity and joined them for the tea and cake. Eilidh says she's on a 10 day Grandma streak and hopes to see me tomorrow, I'll be delighted to see her too. She was wearing two of the items I bought her in Zara the other day so I'm pleased about that.
I'm going to the airport to meet Ali and family tomorrow, the plane is due in at 6, but its history shows it as being regularly early. It all depends how long the luggage takes I suppose. I'll sit outside the airport with some coffee until they have their bags then head for the pick up point . They are due to take off from Doha any minute now. I'm so looking forward to seeing them, and very glad they've had a good time . Taking two little ones can't have been easy.
Off for a relatively early night now so I can get up at horrible o' clock tomorrow.
